“Todd Coyle spreads peace and love throughout the land; funky rhythms and a jammin' beat leave you with no choice but to get off your ass and dance. Todd's sound is as big as his heart.”
I’ve been playing the guitar since I was about 10 years old and have been gigging around West Virginia’s eastern panhandle for about 25 years. I’ve, also, had the pleasure of playing in the Bahamas, Los Angeles, Texas and several other points north and south in this great land of ours. I’ve hosted or co-hosted some 1,300 or so open mic nights over the course of 16 years. Most notably “The Tuesday Open Mic Night” at the Meck (13 years or so) in beautiful downtown Shepherdstown, WV.
I’ve played in folk, blues, pop, country and rock bands as both guitarist and bassist. In the studio I also play keyboards and just about anything with strings.
Now that I’ve reached my mid 40’s (shudder to think) I’m concentrating on songwriting and, though I still do the band thing, my first love is and always has been songwriting.
Is this all he does, you ask?…No, I also work a day job for the Appalachian Trail Conservancy, a really great non-profit organization (go to the links page and find out more).
I don’t want to tell you too much on this first page, so come on in and make yourself at home and find out more about me and what I do and where I’ve been and what I can sell you.
Love and Peace to all
